SOUND DESIGNER
The Sound Designer designs sounds that can take audiences on the emotional journey of the show. This includes diegetic designs that support sounds on or off stage with effects or etherial sounds that help support the actors on stage as well as fellow designers. The Sound Designer also leads the sound department team and defines all aural aspects of the production as developed with our fellow collaborators. ASSOCIATE SOUND DESIGNER
The Associate Sound Designer takes on all the responsibilities of the production Sound Designer when required. They are as intimately familiar with the show as is the primary designer. This person may also act as a liaison between the designer and other departments during the early design and production periods. PRODUCTION SOUND ENGINEER
The Production Sound Engineer is responsible for taking the drawings and concepts as articulated by the designer and supervising the realization. This is the sound departments equivalent of a technical director. This work typically includes coordination of equipment sourcing and installation, budgeting and labor management. Installs rigging, lighting, and sound equipment, as well as scenery. Erects stages for theatrical, musical, and other entertainment events in arenas, stadiums, theaters, studios, and other amusement places. assembles props provided by production company, constructs additional props, scenery, or stages, and attaches braces that support scenery frames in upright position, using carpenter's handtools and power tools. Ethan's credits include ProBowl 2015, WWE SmackDown 2014, Warped Tour, Disney on Ice 100 Years, Cirque De Soleil & Blue Man Group.
